Welcome!

A warm welcome awaits all in Kilcoole Golf Club.

Kilcoole is a beautiful, 9 Hole Parkland course in Co. Wicklow. It is blessed with excellent drainage allowing for year round golf, as a result of which the need for temporary surfaces over the winter period are rarely encountered. This course is a good test of all standards of golf. It is largely flat but nonetheless challenging due to the course design.

Kilcoole Golf Club was founded in 1992 and was originally privately owned. In 1997 however, the club was purchased by the members and has since gone from strength from strength. Both Gents and Ladies sections are very active. From major competitions to open events and with teams in both GUI and ILGU. Inter club competitions there is never a dull moment. Our senior members are also flourishing and major strides have been made with our juniors over the last year.

Our clubhouse opened in November 2001 at a cost of €1.3 ‘million. Stylish and imaginative in its design and featuring state of the art locker room facilities, with bar area and spacious function room, the atmosphere is pleasant and homely.

For those who haven’t had a rewarding game of golf, alternatively a cool beer, some sustenance and a chat may help ease the pain.

The Clubhouse is also fitted with an EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) system which allows members to use their GUI/ILGU smart cards in the bar, restaurant and golf shop areas.

A warm welcome awaits all members and visitors at the reception area where staff cater for everyone’s needs, from golf equipment and accessories to time-sheet bookings and general enquiries.
